Family-owned for over 20 years, The Taco Man is a casual restaurant that specializes in fresh Authentic Mexican Cuisine and provides world-class customer service.
History
In 1982 The Taco Man came to San Diego, California from Mexico City to work for his cousin and their brothers in their family restaurant. The Taco Man started as a dishwasher and quickly learned the challenging trade of owning and operating a successful restaurant business.
After 5 years he started his own enterprise with a little restaurant in San Diego called The Taco Man. The Taco Man name stands for “The man who knows all tacos”. The popularity of this restaurant took off quickly, forcing him to move to a much larger and more accommodating location in Escondido, CA.
