This graphic design assignment had two purposes. First, I was asked to rebrand the Barnes & Noble logo. By replacing the ampersand with the word “and”, I felt this was enough of a subtle change that wouldn’t confuse loyal customers. Secondly, I had to create a store ad including the rebranded logo.
I used the headline “READ LISTEN WATCH” because of Barnes & Noble familiarity of selling books, music, and movies. I felt the dog staring at the person in the hammock was a good visual touch that would spark interest to the ad..
